Career choice? I have a degree in Philosophy; my career choice is “do whatever it takes not to starve”.
23) What stereotypes are put on trans people?
That we’re perverts, confused and/or just really, really gay. That we’re brave, rebellious and inspiring. That we’re not “really” women/men because CHROMOSOMES, MAN. That we’ll sleep with anybody because we have no self esteem and we should be thankful that anybody finds us attractive. That we’re fair game for all kinds of rude and invasive questions because we’re oddities and freaks, and thus the usual rules of respect and politeness don’t apply to us. That we’re drama queens. That we don’t have feelings.
